Molly Clancy is a writer, copywriter, and editor based in Savannah, Georgia. Originally from western Pennsylvania (place of origin: Erie, point of departure: the hills of Pittsburgh), she longs for a decent pierogi, but she’s learning to love Lowcountry boil. Her work has appeared in Pitt Magazine, South Magazine, the bluff, and The Beacon. She served as editor of the bluff magazine, a bi-annual that celebrates the lifestyle, cuisine, art, and music of the South, and associate editor at South Magazine, a bi-monthly that highlights the distinctive and evolving culture of the Coastal Empire.
As a freelance writer, she is grateful to write about everything from food truck parks to celebrity chefs to up-and-coming musicians. First, though, she learned to write about industrial wastewater. Working for a mid-sized engineering firm, she told the story of coal combustion residuals to convince executives and governing boards to award the firm million-dollar contracts.
It was an education in narrative and persuasion (and “condensate polishing,” as it were). One that prepared her to write about …well, pretty much anything. She made industrial waste compelling for a living. She can’t wait to tell your story.
With 12 years of marketing experience, she specializes in planning and writing content for clients in a range of industries, including tech, real estate, legal services, nonprofit, engineering, luxury travel, and hospitality.
